How to Play

Control Static (the character) with arrow keys, SPACEBAR to jump, Q to shoot the portal. Avoid the intergalatic police chasing you down for evading the draft while also avoiding a deadly enemy from the shadow world. Reach the wall to chillaxxx in cyberspace and enjoy your draft dodging freedom.

Inspiration

ESkate is inspired from the vapor-wave aesthetic. Vapor-wave itself is inspired by Tokyo in the 80's where the miracle economic development of the country created a dream world of neon signs. As VHS tapes, video game consoles, and other notable tech developed into digital media so did the nostalgia of a past time. Vapor-wave is the accumulation of a yearning for the past and a digital world that exists today.
